The Weeknd has made some impressive history by becoming the first artist ever to have the biggest song in the world 2 years in a row. “Blinding Lights” was the highest charting and performing song of the year 2020. The following year, “Save Your Tears” topped the charts and did just as well as Abel’s single from the year prior, being the biggest song of 2021. Congrats to The Weeknd on this impressive feat. Could he go for a trifecta in 2022? We shall see.
