Taylor Swift was involved in some drama she certainly didn’t ask for yesterday. Taylor is sounding off after London-based musician Damon Albarn told the L.A. Times that the “cardigan” singer doesn’t write her own songs. Swift responded in a tweet on Monday afternoon (January 24), tagging Albarn: “I was such a big fan of yours until I saw this. I write ALL of my own songs. Your hot take is completely false and SO damaging. You don’t have to like my songs but it’s really f***ed up to try and discredit my writing. WOW.”
Swift followed up: “PS I wrote this tweet all by myself in case you were wondering.” Check out her tweets below. Good for Taylor! Albarn did eventually apologize in his own tweet.
