You can find Miley Cyrus on Dolly Parton’s new Christmas album, A Holly Dolly Christmas, and you won’t believe how the pair’s team up came about.
In an appearance on BBC America’s Graham Norton Show, Cyrus remembered the old-fashioned way that her godmother asked her to sing ‘Christmas Is’ on her album, which also features Michael Bublé, Willie Nelson and even her father, Billy Ray Cyrus. “She faxed me,” the pop star admitted during the interview, correcting the host after her made a reference to Parton calling her to to ask her for the collaboration. “So, she gets upset when you don’t respond. And it’s like, ‘I’m sorry, I don’t … I don’t even know. Half the people watching your show might not even know what a fax machine is.”
