It’s certainly a great day to be NBA superstar Kevin Durant as he has joined Michael Jordan and LeBron James as the third basketball player ever to sign a lifetime deal with Nike. Terms of the deal have not been released yet but you can assure it’s a lot of money. Durant first inked an endorsement deal with the Swoosh in 2007 when he was drafted by the Seattle Supersonics. Durant’s first signature shoe with Nike, the Zoom KD 1, released in 2008 and since then, a new KD model has hit retail every year including a soon-to-be-released KD 16.
