Keke Palmer is your 2020 MTV Video Music Awards host. On Thursday (August 6), the network announced that the host/actress will take the stage at this year’s ceremony. In her announcement, she “Facetimed” and dropped the news to her True Jackson, VP character, saying, “True, I’m hosting the MTV Video Music Awards! The VMAs! Summer’s biggest stage with the world’s biggest artists.” Palmer, who turns 27 days before the VMAs, will become the show’s youngest VMA host since a 22-year-old Miley Cyrus hosted the show in 2015. This year’s ceremony is set for the Brooklyn’s Barclays Center with “limited to no guests” and airs at 8pm PT/ET on August 30 across MTV’s linear and digital platforms.
