Ellen DeGeneres is on the hot seat for allegedly creating a toxic work environment. If she ends up losing her show, sources say that the “Late, Late Show” host is next in line.
And get this – James was always considered as “the long term successor” to Ellen – even before the recent scandals surfaced. Apparently NBC Entertainment Chairman Paul Telegdy is a huge fan of James and has him “high on his wanted list for talent.” According to an insider, “James would freshen up daytime and with a free hand would be allowed to build a new afternoon era.”
